Prohibited Items

To ensure safe, legal, and responsible disposal, the following items and strictly prohibited from being placed in any Junk Away Services LLC dumpster. Customers are responsible for all prohibited materials found n their container. Additional fees, fines, or refusal or pickup may apply if these items are discovered.

Hazardous and Toxic Materials

• Paints, stains, and varnishes (unless completely dried in cans)

• Household cleaning chemicals, bleach or ammonia

• Pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers

• Pool chemicals

• Medical and pharmaceutical waste

Flammable and Combustible Items

• Gasoline, diesel, or kerosene

• Motor oil, transmission fluid, or antifreeze

• Propane tanks, fuel tanks, or pressurized cylinders

• Hot ashes, burning materials, or coals.

Large or Restricted Materials

• Tires or rubber products

• Railroad ties or telephone poles

​

Other Restricted Items

• Dead animals or carcasses

• Biohazard materials or medical sharps

• Industrial drums, barrels, or sealed containers

• Any items deemed unsafe, illegal, or not permitted at the landfills.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Overfilled or overweight dumpsters may result in extra charges or refusal of pickup.

• Mixed loads containing prohibited items may result in full load rejection and customer liability for disposal costs.

• Customers are responsible for knowing and following local regulations and for any fines imposed due to prohibited  materials.
